Let me introduce myself!
Pat Wheeler is a Fringe Runner and a native of East Texas. He played golf in high school before earning a journalism degree from SMU. After a 25-year corporate sales career, Pat transitioned into freelance writing about sports, especially golf, and is in his 10th year of hosting the radio show, Texas Links on the Air.
Texas Links On The Air covers the Texas golf scene in a unique way. Each Saturday morning at 8 AM (CT), Pat and co-host George Machock host Texas Links On the Air, a live radio program aired on Big D’s Talk (KBDT 1160-AM) out of Dallas.
